Your course content

What you will learn

For years, demographic change and technical and scientific progress have been presenting society with new challenges. Consequently, our health and social care system must increasingly work business oriented to meet cost-effectiveness and high quality, customer, and patient orientation. At the same time, healthcare workers are feeling more stressed and overworked. These developments and the managing of such tasks require healthcare and social care executives and managers with a wide range of skills and extensive education. Therefore, during your master's program, we teach you to recognize company-specific problems, to develop strategically relevant solutions and to strengthen your company's market position.

In health and social care facilities, the aim is always to find a fine balance between high-quality care on the one hand and economic efficiency on the other. Consequently, the focus of our master's program in health and social management is on business expertise and management skills with consideration of ethical aspects, from a manager's point of view.  We emphasize the right handling of resources and how to efficiently use both existing personnel and your own capacities. You will gain important management knowledge and professional skills in the field of health and social services.

Costs and financing

Here you will find all the information you need to realize your studies.

Your financing

As a state-recognized, private university, the SRH University of Applied Health Sciences is financed by tuition fees. These revenues are used to equip our campus, to provide services for our students, and to ensure that you receive the highest quality of education, creating an optimal study environment.

Campus Gera: 450€ / per month (total: 13.950 EUR)
Campus Hamburg: 680 € / per month (Total: 20.850 EUR)
The monthly fee remains the same throughout the entire study period. The one-time enrollment fee is 450.00 EUR and is due 4 weeks before the start of the study program. Except for the placement, aptitude or equivalency exam, if applicable, no separate exam fees or similar are charged, not even for repeat exams. This gives you maximum cost transparency during your studies. If you extend your studies beyond the standard period of study, fees will continue to be charged, since you will still be using the services offered by the university. If only the final thesis of the course is still outstanding, the fees are reduced by 50%.

In addition to efficient organization, a goal-oriented course of study requires a solid financial basis to be able to pay rent, living expenses and tuition fees. Financing options are available, including educational loans or scholarship programs.
