We - the state-recognized SRH University of Applied Health Sciences - were founded in 2006 in Gera, in the middle of beautiful Thuringia. In its first year, the university had around 80 students, spread across a total of four degree programs. Since then, the university has been writing a success story, with more than 1,500 students now studying in 20 accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs or those currently undergoing accreditation, at a total of 12 study locations nationwide, thus making an active contribution to a healthy society.
All study programs were co-developed by smart minds and strong partners from the healthcare industry and are supported by strong practice partners.
The university stands for individual coaching, practical lectures and competence-oriented teaching and learning. Often, the SRH University of Applied Health Sciences is considered a nationwide pioneer, such as in the study program: Neurorehabilitation or in the training-integrated study model of the bachelor's degree programs in physiotherapy and speech therapy.

Our exciting study programs are offered at many locations, throughout Germany: Whether at the campus in the cozy town of Gera in Thuringia, or in the west of the country, in the Ruhr area in one of the charming cities of Bonn, Düsseldorf or Leverkusen, in the far north, at the study center in Heide in Schleswig-Holstein, in the south of Germany, in Heidelberg, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, or in Bavaria, such as in beautiful Bamberg. With us, you will not only find the perfect course of study, but also the right place to study.
Even if it sounds trite, it's true: You don't realize that you felt healthy until you start to feel a little pinchy. Creating a new - subjective - feeling of health from this can be a major task.
