Prof. Dr. Rita Wittelsberger

Prof. Dr. Rita Wittelsberger joined the SRH University of Health in May 2019. She is professor of therapeutic sciences for the training-integrated degree program in physiotherapy at the Karlsruhe and Stuttgart campuses. In addition, she is the campus manager for Stuttgart and partly also Karlsruhe.

After her training as a physiotherapist from 2004-2007 at the BG Unfallklinik in Ludwigshafen, Prof. Dr. Rita Wittelsberger studied sports and sports science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in B.A. and M.Sc. and then in 2018 completed her doctorate there in the field of development and evaluation of a health sports program (scholarship of the Landesgraduiertenförderung).

In addition to her studies, she was employed part-time and freelance in several physiotherapy practices, among others. Through research stays in Zurich, Tampere (Finland) and Gent (Belgium) she was able to further distinguish herself.

Through numerous projects, teaching activities and publications in the field of social, health and therapy sciences, she has gained a wide range of experience.
