About me

After completing her Bachelor's degree in "Health Psychology (B.Sc.)", Regine Breneise went on to complete her Master's degree in "Mental Health and Psychotherapy (M.Sc.)".

She worked as a research assistant at the Medical University in Leipzig (Integrated Research and Treatment Centre, IFB, Obesity Diseases) in the junior research group "Stigma and Self-Stigma in Obesity". Here she worked on a research project on the topic of "Internalised stigma as a stressor - pathophysiological and psychological consequences for the development of an intervention". In addition to her work in the research project, Regine Breneise worked as a lecturer in psychology for geriatric care training at the German Cross and had a teaching assignment at the SRH University of Health in the Bachelor's degree programme in Health Psychology (B.Sc.) in Gera.

Regine Breneise is currently working as a research assistant at the SRH University of Health in the research project "ViTraS". She also works as a lecturer in the Master's programme in Mental Health and Psychotherapy (M.Sc.) in Gera.
