Prof. Dr. Henrik Herrmann

Prof. Dr. Henrik Herrmann, born in Halle/Saale in 1958, has been a professor in the bachelor's degree program Physician Assistant at the SRH University of Health at the Heide Study Center since May 2020.

After studying medicine in Kiel, he completed further training as a specialist in internal medicine at the Westküstenklinikum in Heide. He then worked as a senior physician in the Medical Clinic at the Westküstenklinikum in Heide. This was followed by positions as head physician of the internal medicine department and geriatric department at the Westküstenklinikum Brunsbüttel. Since 2003, he has been Medical Director of the Training Center for Health Care Professions at the Westküstenklinikum Heide. He is also involved, among other things, as a board member of the Marburger Bund Landesverband Schleswig-Holstein and the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association and has been President of the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association and a member of the Federal Medical Association Board since 2018.
