About me

Since April 2016, in addition to her work in the COPE research group "Behavioural correlates of obesity discrimination - an experimental approach", Natascha-Alexandra Weinberger has also been working as a lecturer in the Master's programme in Mental Health and Psychotherapy at the SRH Hochschule für Gesundheit at the Gera campus.

Natascha-Alexandra Weinberger successfully completed her psychology studies at the University of Leipzig in 2015. She then worked as a research assistant in the junior research group "Stigma and internalised stigma in obesity: mechanisms and implications for intervention options", which was set up as part of the Integrated Research and Treatment Centre (IFB) Obesity Diseases and funded by the BMBF. In 2022, Natascha-Alexandra Weinberger successfully completed her cumulative doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Institute of Social Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Public Health at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig.

Natascha-Alexandra Weinberger is currently working as a research assistant at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in the research project "ViTraS". She also works as a lecturer in the Master's programme in Mental Health and Psychotherapy (M.Sc.) in Gera.
