One university. Many opportunities. One common path.
We - the state-recognized SRH University of Applied Health Sciences - were founded in 2006 in Gera, in the middle of beautiful Thuringia. In its first year, the university had around 80 students, spread across a total of four degree programs. Since then, the university has been writing a success story, with more than 1,400 students now studying in 18 accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs or those currently undergoing accreditation, at a total of 12 study locations nationwide, thus making an active contribution to a healthy society.
All courses of study were co-developed by clever heads and strong partners from the health industry and are supported by strong practice partners.
The university stands for individual coaching, practical lectures and competence-oriented teaching and learning. The SRH University of Applied Health Sciences is often regarded as a nationwide pioneer, as in the case of the Neurorehabilitation course or the training-integrated study model of the Bachelor's courses in Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy.
