Prof. Dr. habil. Claudia Wahn was appointed full professor at the SRH University of Health in 2012.
She successfully completed her studies in education with a focus on special and remedial education/education of the speech impaired and psychology at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen with a specialization in the elective subjects of education of the speech impaired and patholinguistics at the University of Cologne with a diploma (Justus Liebig University Giessen).
She successfully completed her second degree in German Linguistics/ Linguistics and Literature of the Middle Ages as well as Educational Science (main focus: applied linguistics, field of clinical linguistics) as Magistra (Justus-Liebig-University Giessen).
In 2002, she received her doctorate in the field of speech impairment education (University of Leipzig).
In 2010, she completed her habilitation and received the venia legendi for the subjects of remedial and special education with a focus on speech therapy education and the extension option in patholinguistics (Justus Liebig University Giessen).
Since 2006, numerous Erasmus guest lectureships/ professorships in linguistics (DAAD) at the Swedish-Finnish ÅBO Akademi/ University of Turku, Finland, at the Institute of Germanic Philology, as well as receipt of an international research grant from the Forskare of ÅBO Akademi/ University of Turku, Finland in September 2008.
Since June 2011 evaluator in the EU research framework programs: Evaluator/ Review Expert.
Since October 2012 course director in the training-integrated course of studies in speech therapy at the SRH University of Health.
Since January 2013: International Coordinator/ Head of the International Office/ IO (Erasmus+ and Non-EU) at the SRH University of Health.
Since 2020: Supervision of a group of doctoral students
Since 2020: application DAAD for a visiting scientist (Universtiät Istanbul) in the post-doc phase on the way to habilitation.
She is the head of the Department of Therapeutic Sciences at the SRH University of Health.
Since April 2021 GA' for the EU/ DAAD in the area of *Strategic Partnerships* (Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships).
