Dr. Carolin Thiel

After Carolin Thiel completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at Chemnitz University of Technology in 2012, she worked in the field of business psychology until she joined the SRH University of Applied Sciences for Health in October 2013 for her master's degree in mental health and psychotherapy.

Carolin Thiel has been part of the team at the SRH University of Health since April 2014, when she accepted her first teaching position and since then has continuously taught in the modules of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Empirical-Scientific Work with a focus on qualitative methods, and also strengthened the Psychology team in the area of study program organization as a research assistant. Already since January 2019, Carolin Thiel additionally supported the team of the university management as a scientific officer especially in the field of quality management and took over the office of the quality management officer in June 2021.

In addition to her work at the SRH University of Health, she is also active as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg at the Institute of General Medicine in various research projects with a qualitative research focus.
