About me

As of October 2018, Prof. Dr. Susanne Hardecker was employed for the first time as a substitute professor at the SRH University of Health. 

Prof. Dr. Susanne Hardecker successfully completed her studies in psychology at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in 2010. During her studies, she completed a research stay as a Fulbright Scholar at California State University San Marcos in 2007-2008, where she focused on social norms as intervention methods for health and environmental behaviors.

In 2011, she began her doctoral studies in the Department of Comparative and Developmental Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig on understanding social norms in preschool children, which she successfully completed in 2014.

Prof. Dr. Susanne Hardecker worked as a research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and conducts research on moral development and the emergence and impact of social norms.

Since April 01, 2019, she has also been working as a cross-curricular professor for methodology in health and social sciences.
