Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Meffert

In 2016, Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Meffert became a lecturer at the SRH University of Health in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Since 2018, she has initially been a substitute professor in the training-integrated degree program in speech therapy at the Stuttgart campus. She has been a full professor there since February 2021.

In 2000, she completed her training as a speech therapist in Ulm. Since then, she has worked clinically in an acute clinic, a social pediatric center, the aphasia ward at Aachen University Hospital, and in speech therapy practices."

From 2002 to 2007, Meffert studied teaching and research logopedics at RWTH Aachen University.

This was followed by her work as a research assistant at RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich in projects on the foundations of developmental dyslexia and spontaneous speech analysis in aphasia.

In 2016, Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Meffert completed her doctorate (Dr. rer.medic).
